All the footprints you've ever left and fear expecting ahead (Spurs)

I've decided I'm going to revamp the match preview feature (just a little too late for the start of the new season...), I always leave myself too little time to write them, so they're rushed and frankly, not very useful. So this is a sort of interim one, while I work out a new format in time (hopefully) for the Champions League game.
One thing I'm definitely giving up is the predicting/guessing the team. It just seems so futile... All I'll say is that with the tricky away Champions League tie against Besiktas coming up I still see a full strength line up for the Spurs game - away group games in the Champions League aren't such a priority that players need to be rested for them, points are droppable, especially with our home record in the competition.
Match facts, from the BBC, bode well:

Spurs have drawn their last two league matches at home to Manchester United, but haven't beaten the Red Devils since 2001 (16 Premier League games).
Tottenham have lost ten Premier League games at home to Man Utd, more than against any other opponent.
In fact Spurs have only beaten Man Utd three times in the Premier League in 34 matches, all at White Hart Lane (4-1 in 1996, 3-1 in 1999 and 3-1 in 2001).

Match prediction - Looking forward to a good game, they generally are against Spurs and, riding high on confidence from our last couple of games, I don't really see us losing this one. Can envisage a draw, but I'll optimistically go for the full 3 points. 3-1 to us.
