Fool

Some ridiculous words from Luka Modric on Ronaldo, from The Mirror:

He said: "He really overdoes the theatrical bits.

"In England, where fairness is especially kept in mind and where a masculine, fair game is the law, such whining stands out even more. I don't know what good it will do him."

This sounds like some sort of '70's '80's footballer's rant with it's equation of whining with women, surely only Jim Davidson would make this equation nowadays? And why, after Ledley King got away with fouling Ronaldo in the box, come out with this comment now? And "I don't know what good it will do him"?! He's World Player of the Year, for god's sake. Doesn't seem to have done him any harm, does it?
