All the footprints you've ever left and fear expecting ahead (Newcastle)

I'm always a bit wary of games against Newcastle. You never really know where you are with them, one game they'll be absolutely dreadful, the next, they'll play out of their skins. Last season 6-0 and 5-1, this season they defend stoutly and get a 1-1 at Old Trafford. So, while I'm pretty confident we'll get the result, there's a little bit of me that's a little worried.
Having said that, when you look at the stats, it seems like we should be in for an easy night, The Mirror state that out of the last 14 meetings against us Newcastle have picked up a mere 3 points and in our last 6 trips to St James' we've scored 20 goals. Add to that Newcastle's injury problems and Kevin Nolan being suspended, and all you can see is a Man Utd win.
Our squad is back to its best again, with Sky giving this team as our probable: Van der Sar, O'Shea, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Fletcher, Carrick, Giggs, Ronaldo, Berbatov, Rooney.
The only thing I'd disagree with is Fletcher where I see Park starting, Sir Alex seeming to have Park slightly higher up the pecking order than Fletcher, and this being a game to win to keep on grinding the Premier League "chasing" pack down. The other thing being O'Shea is a slight injury doubt but should be fit to play.
Van der Sar will set a new European record if he finishes the game unbeaten (actually he only needs to go 89 minutes but hey...), the current record being 1390 minutes by Dany Verlinden in the Belgian First Division in 1990-91. Van der Sar currently on 1302
Prediction: Newcastle 0 Man Utd 2
