That old Chestnut

One article I missed this morning was this by Jonathan Wilson in the FT about Ronaldo:

When he faces Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday, it will be the 30th time the Manchester United winger has played against another member of the Big Four. In the previous 29 he has scored just three times.

The only doubt is his ability to turn it on in big games. Is he, to adopt a metaphor from cricket, a flat-track bully?
Jesus.

Do we really have to go through that again?

Can't we have a ban on this type of lazy journalism?

If I had a penny for how many times I'd had to read this exact article over the last few seasons I'd have ... a fair few pennys ... which I wouldn't be spending on papers, unless their football journalists starting thinking for themselves and writing something new...
